About Escape Door
We build games you play together
Why we do it
The best part of any game is the people playing it
Think of the moment a whole room shouts the answer at once. That is what we design for. Our games get teams talking, friends competing and families working something out together, and they leave you with a story to retell.
What we believe
Four rules for every game
Everyone plays
No one watches over a shoulder. Every player has their own phone, their own code and often their own clues, so the quiet ones get to be the hero too.
Never stuck for long
Every puzzle has hints, and the game offers a nudge when a team stalls. Hard enough to feel earned, never hard enough to spoil the evening.
No spoilers
Lock codes and secret words change for every booking, so answers shared online don’t work and every team solves it for real.
Works where you are
A living room, a boardroom, a city street or a video call. Some games even keep running when the signal drops.
How a game is made
From first idea to final clue
1
The story
Every game starts with a story worth finishing: a heist, a missing professor, a city’s hidden secret.
2
The puzzles
Locks, ciphers, hidden objects and location challenges are woven into the plot, not bolted on.
3
The playtest
We test the flow so teams move from clue to clue, and tune the hints where people slow down.
4
Your game
You book a time, everyone joins on their phone, and the clock starts when your team is ready.
What we make

Bring your people
